These Community Guidelines help ensure that Paws of Fate remains a safe, welcoming, and positive space for everyone. By using the Service, you agree to follow these guidelines.

Pet Profiles and Photos

• Pictures of your pets being adorable
• Pet profiles showcasing your furry, scaly, or feathery friends
• Funny or heartwarming pet moments

Horoscopes and Astrology

• Pet horoscope discussions
• Zodiac personality insights for your pets
• Compatibility results and playful astrological content

Pet Care and Support

• Helpful tips and advice (with the caveat that professional veterinary advice should always be sought for medical issues)
• Recommendations for products, toys, or services
• Support for fellow pet owners going through challenges

Community Engagement

• Thoughtful comments and questions
• Positive feedback and encouragement
• Celebrating milestones (pet birthdays, adoptions, etc.)

Creative Content

• Pet-related art, stories, or poems
• Themed posts (holidays, seasons, etc.)
• Fun challenges or trends (as long as they're safe for animals)

What We Don't Allow

Animal Cruelty and Harm

• Content depicting animal abuse, neglect, or cruelty
• Instructions or encouragement for harming animals
• Promotion of animal fighting, baiting, or other violent activities
• Content showing animals in distress for entertainment purposes
• Jokes or comments making light of animal suffering

Harassment and Bullying

• Targeting individuals with insults, threats, or intimidation
• Persistent unwanted contact or attention
• Shaming others for their pets, choices, or circumstances
• Coordinated harassment campaigns
• Doxxing (sharing private information without consent)
• Impersonation intended to deceive or harm

Hate Speech and Discrimination

• Content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age
• Slurs, derogatory language, or symbols associated with hate groups
• Promotion of hateful ideologies or organizations
• Dehumanizing language or stereotypes

Explicit or Inappropriate Content

• Sexually explicit or suggestive content
• Graphic violence or gore (including disturbing images of injured animals)
• Content that sexualizes or exploits minors
• Excessive profanity or vulgar language

Misinformation and Dangerous Content

• False or misleading information about pet health or care that could cause harm
• Promotion of dangerous "treatments" or unproven remedies
• Anti-vaccine or anti-science content that puts animals at risk
• Conspiracy theories or deliberate misinformation campaigns

Note: Sharing personal experiences or asking questions is okay, but always encourage consulting with a veterinarian for medical advice.

Spam and Scams

• Excessive self-promotion or advertising
• Spam, phishing attempts, or fraudulent schemes
• Pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick schemes, or multi-level marketing
• Repeated posting of identical or nearly identical content
• Fake engagement (bots, automated posting, fake accounts)

Illegal Activities

• Content promoting illegal activities
• Sale or trade of illegal substances, weapons, or animals through unauthorized channels
• Theft, fraud, or other criminal behavior
• Violations of intellectual property rights (using others' photos or content without permission)

Privacy Violations

• Sharing others' personal information without consent (addresses, phone numbers, email addresses)
• Posting private conversations or messages publicly
• Sharing photos of other people's pets without permission
• Creating accounts impersonating real people or pets

Platform Manipulation

• Using multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions
• Artificial inflation of engagement (buying likes, comments, or followers)
• Coordinating inauthentic behavior
• Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities in the app
• Attempting to hack or gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems

Specific Guidelines

Pet Photos and Videos

Do:

• Share clear, well-lit photos that showcase your pets
• Include fun captions or descriptions
• Credit others if you're sharing their content (with permission)

Don't:

• Post photos of pets in dangerous situations
• Share images that could be disturbing or upsetting
• Use filters or editing that misrepresents your pet in a harmful way
• Post photos of other people's pets without permission

Comments and Interactions

Do:

• Be supportive and encouraging
• Ask thoughtful questions
• Offer constructive feedback when appropriate
• Use humor that doesn't come at anyone's expense

Don't:

• Make personal attacks or insults
• Derail conversations with off-topic rants
• Engage in arguments or flame wars
• Pile on or gang up on other users

Horoscopes and Astrology Content

Do:

• Enjoy the entertainment value of pet horoscopes
• Share fun insights and personality observations
• Engage in lighthearted discussions about zodiac compatibility

Don't:

• Take horoscope content as scientific fact
• Use astrology to make serious decisions about your pet's health or care
• Attack or demean others based on their pet's zodiac sign (even jokingly, if it becomes hurtful)

Pet Care Discussions

Do:

• Share general tips and experiences
• Recommend products or services you've used
• Encourage others to consult with veterinarians for medical issues
• Be open to different approaches and perspectives

Don't:

• Provide medical diagnoses or treatment plans (you're not a vet!)
• Shame others for their care choices
• Promote unproven, dangerous, or illegal treatments
• Discourage others from seeking professional veterinary care

Reporting and Enforcement

How to Report

If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines:

1. Use the Report Feature: Tap the report icon on the post or comment
2. Select the Issue: Choose the guideline violation that applies
3. Provide Details: Include any additional context that helps us understand the issue
4. Submit: We'll review your report and take appropriate action

What We'll Do

When we receive a report, we will:

• Review the content or behavior in question
• Assess whether it violates our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service
• Take appropriate action based on the severity and context

Enforcement Actions

Depending on the violation, we may:

• Warning: For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a warning
• Content Removal: We'll remove content that violates our guidelines
• Temporary Suspension: Repeated or more serious violations may result in temporary account suspension (24 hours to 30 days)
• Permanent Ban: Severe violations (animal cruelty, illegal activity, repeated harassment) result in permanent account termination with no refund of subscription fees
• Legal Action: For illegal activity, we may report to law enforcement and cooperate with investigations

Appeals

If you believe enforcement action was taken in error:

• Email info@kruseconsultants.com with "Appeal" in the subject line
• Include your username and a brief explanation
• We'll review your appeal within 7 business days

Your Responsibilities

As a member of the Paws of Fate community, you agree to:

Protect Your Account

• Keep your password secure
• Don't share your account with others
• Report suspicious activity immediately

Respect Intellectual Property

• Don't post content you don't have the right to share
• Credit creators when sharing others' work (with permission)
• Respect copyright, trademark, and other IP rights

Be Honest

• Don't misrepresent yourself, your pets, or your affiliations
• Don't create fake accounts or engage in deceptive practices
• Provide accurate information in your profile and posts

Follow the Law

• Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
• Don't use Paws of Fate for illegal purposes
• Respect the rights of others

Help Keep the Community Safe

• Report violations when you see them
• Don't engage with or amplify harmful content
• Support fellow community members when they're targeted by bad actors

Special Considerations

Minors (Ages 13-17)

If you're between 13 and 17:

• Review these guidelines with a parent or guardian
• Never share personal identifying information publicly
• Be extra cautious about interactions with strangers
• Report anything that makes you uncomfortable

Parents and Guardians: Please supervise your child's use of Paws of Fate and discuss online safety.

Sensitive Topics

When discussing sensitive topics (pet loss, illness, behavioral issues):

• Be compassionate and supportive
• Avoid graphic details that could be triggering
• Offer resources (support groups, professional help) when appropriate
• Respect that everyone grieves and copes differently

Disagreements

Disagreements happen, and that's okay! When you disagree:

• Focus on the issue, not the person
• Assume good intentions
• Step away if things get heated
• Agree to disagree respectfully

Updates to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time as our community grows and evolves. When we make significant changes, we'll:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top
• Notify you through the app or via email
• Give you a chance to review the changes
